The Youth Development Program is a skill based training program for athletes entering 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th Grade. This program will teach players the rules of the game, the technical skills, and will place special focus on teamwork. Players will be placed in training groups based on their skill level and will practice twice a week for 1.5 hours. The program runs for 21 sessions over 15 weeks. No practices will take place during the holiday break so you can enjoy the holiday with your families. The total cost for the program is only $575, a deposit of $325 due with your registration.
Players will be trained by Nebraska Elite coaches in a camp style setting and have controlled scrimmages throughout the program. The focus of the program will be on skill development, volleyball rules, and officiating, not scoring points and winning. Individual skill development will be tracked on a nightly basis. Each player will receive a t-shirt jersey, a practice tee, whistle, and program book.

Simply scrimmaging in practices and playing hundreds of games over the course of a season generally results in inefficient habits. It is much more difficult to correct bad habits than develop great habits from the start. Read more.
