Nutrition Seminar for Elite Families

Nutrition plays a major role in performance. Understanding how food selection, quantity, and timing of meals will help our teams perform better. Volleyball athletes have specific nutritional demands. Nutriton starts at home! Please join us as we bring in a Registered Sports Nutritionist to discuss the specific nutritional demands of club volleyball. The seminar will include tips for better nutrition, eating advise for athletes with all goals (build muscle, slim down, and tournament performance), as well as some time for questions and answers.

Mark you calendars and attend our Nutrition Seminar.

November 29 from 7:30-9 PM

Physical Testing for 15-18U Elite Players

We will conduct physical testing for ALL 15-18U Elite Players before practices begin in December. We want to complete all testing before starting workouts in December. Our goal is to start immediately and not waste time testing once our workouts begin.

Testing is important for a couple reasons.

1. You will need this information on your recruiting website.

2. Colleges will ask for your jump touch and reach numbers.

3. This is how we measure the effectiveness of our workout program.

4. Vert Club Qualification.

5. Gauges Individual Athlete Improvement.

We will be testing height, reach, standing vertical, block jump, approach jump, squat, bench, pro-agility, and perform an overhead squat assessment on each athlete.

Please plan to attend one of these dates below. Plan for testing to take 60-90 minutes. Drop in at any time between 4-8 PM but we will not start any new tests after 8 PM so that athletes and trainers can finish testing around 9 PM.

November 27 or 28 from 4-9 PM. Please plan to for approximately 60-minutes.

Recruiting Seminars for Elite Players

In order to find a college volleyball scholarship you need to be willing to actively promote yourself to college coaches and engage with them throughout the college recruiting process. In any given year a college volleyball program will begin their recruiting efforts by actively evaluating hundreds of potential recruits. Coaches won’t be recruiting you or offering you a sports scholarship unless they know who you are. It is your responsibility to get the coaches attention by emailing them, calling them, or answering bulk surveys.

Our recruiting seminar will provide you with some information about the recruiting process, contacting coaches, and how properly negotiate for a scholarship. Scholarships are available to all levels of play. Over 85% of college athletic scholarships are available outside of the NCAA DI. By expanding your search and contacting more schools you will give yourself a better opportunity to land that coveted volleyball scholarship.

Over the last 15 years, no other club in the state of Nebraska has produced more collegiate scholarship athletes than Nebraska Elite. Take control of the college recruiting process and get proactive. There is only one sure thing in recruiting; if you aren’t speaking with coaches you aren’t being recruited.

Mark you calendars and attend one of the following recruiting seminars.

December 3 from 1-3 PM
